Pure Interims are currently consulting with a NHS organisation based in South West / South Central to appoint an Interim Adult Safeguarding Lead for 3 Months minimum.

The Adult Safeguarding Lead will support the Safeguarding agenda across and on behalf of the NHS organisation while working closely with the local health economy.

The main objective is to ensure adults at risk are safe and supporting the development and implementation of a robust, system wide adult safeguarding strategy that mirrors national policy, local guidance and best practice.

Brief Duties/Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement all appropriate strategies, policies, cross partnership coordination and programme development in relation to adult safeguarding
- Review and evaluate strategies, policies and services relating to adult safeguarding
- Recommend changes in policy to the organisations senior management
- Provide professional expert advice and clinical guidance, support and leadership for safeguarding adults at risk
- Lead on the development, organisation and evaluation of training programmes to all staff
- Work across organisational boundaries to promote interagency joint working
- Identify and improve potential risks within the service and ensure any relevant lessons learnt are fully embedded into practice and policies.
